Grammar: The Present Perfect and Present Perfect Passive
When we talk about Borrowmeade in 1990, we can use the past simple tense, e.g. There was a farmhouse to the
west of the village centre. However, when we talk about Borrowmeade today, we use the present perfect tense to
describe what has changed and what has been changed.
